Stuck in the melody

After spend times in anxiety for the final test to finish my study from high school, I finally step in to the first day of orientation at the campus. Although it was such a boring five days to be waste, at least I really got the excitement when they held the event where the senior present what activities that we can do at the campus itself.

There's sport club from karate to automotive, dance club, movie club, those who expert on climbing show off their skill, but what really amuse me was the band club. They played the song that had been stuck in my head days before.

Later on, I found out it was 'What it is to burn' by Finch. That's the beginning on how music becomes part of my journey from teenager to an adult one. If I listen to those song again, it reminds me on things back when I was at the university. Now, I'm kinda stuck on those memories I guess.

these r that stuck in head now:

A month had gone

It's been a week after Eid ul-Fitr. I'm still missing the fried food, all those sweet drinks and other things that you can only find in Ramadan. And I miss my daily routine at that time. Waking up at dawn and eat in unconscious while try to understand what M. Quraish Shihab says on television. Then, the azan Magrib sounds like the singing of an angel coming out of nowhere. I really like the euphoria during the month of Ramadan and of course when it comes to Eid ul-Fitr.

I love how the supermarket maintains their storage with a lot of bottles of syrup and biscuits and how shopping center displays their things. At Eid ul-Fitr I found that my neighbor suddenly are much more than I recognize and mostly I even don't know who they are or their name. Well, I guess for me it's easy to be familiar with things in supermarket rather than with these people ha...ha...ha... Most of the time, I never find difficulty to choose what I want to wear for Eid ul-Fitr but there is always a trend for the clothes and the mukena itself.

Strangely enough, I just realize somehow it's only in Ramadan that our diner table could be looking so merrier and tempted. I hope other months still tempted too to keep me better to do five-time-pray and good spiritual that Ramadan teach and have an effect on me. Amiin.

The end has an end

The new FIFA World Ranking had been released and Netherlands is the new no. 1 over Spain who successfully won Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010. According to soccernet.espn.go.com, this changing happened as Spain couldn't win the three friendly matches since they won the World Cup itself. While the Netherlands have found their confidence and gain the contradictory result of what Spain had. Vicente Del Bosque considered the seven el clasicos matches for over the last five months is the reason why his team cannot play as good as it should be. We know that most of the members of the national team are come from Barca and Real who usually have bad record when it comes to bad tackle, a conflict on and off the ground, and surely enough a competition with high intensity. On the other side, Primera Division is not able to stop the strike of the players due to the compensation which they haven't received yet. It cost the delay of ten matches that should be held on this week.

Another team face their own problem; England players are terrified and live in fear of failure by Gary Neville on 21st August 2011 in dailymail.co.uk, explain the turbulence for having played for the national team, the changing of managers and a sudden revision of strategy just a couple of days. As well as the confession of few young players who feel not confidence in playing with the team and not sure for the future of the team itself.

Although English Premier League is considered to be the competition that brings football to be modernized, it seems they have to apply technology to assist the referee to make a fair decision. There is a research done by Tim Long, Beyond The Goal Line: Football Technology Debate airing on BBC, shows the need for it and how it can make a difference to the final result for a club in Premier League. Look forward to see all these quite complicated things can bring football to be a better sport to watch and to cheer up to.

Public pervert

Bjork stated that we are the earth intruders and sharp shooters, while Sex Pistols pray for the sanctuary of the Queen. Surely enough, the Queen will be safe and untouchable from the rioters and looters who spread from London to Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool. It won't be ended up like Indonesia back in 1998 where finally Soeharto had to step down after spends his 32 years as a president. For centuries Indonesia occupied by the Netherlands and being treated as voluntary workers. Then, finally come the moment that long had been waiting where people fight for their rights. But then it has to be waste again for 32 years for nothing. I mean, if we take a look only on the outside, it could be said that we already success enough at that time. But we never get the explanation where they get the money from to start up all those things. And the crisis economy had never been resolved either while his family earn the wealth that seems can never be vanish. Maybe people are just feelling sick enough being ruled by those people who careless and by political things that often brings nothing.

Western people usually considered the third countries or developing countries as the barbaric one and not democratic enough as they were. But I think they just want to have their rights that had been taken from. They fight for it as the Londoners and others who relate to the riot, want to have the life that they should get through the same chance. But some of them also have trouble in misleading the diversity of people who live in the same neighborhood which have better life. Some of them use the issues relate to other ethnic to make it okay to blame the problem that actually should be the government's responsibility. It is pretty hard to live in harmony when you have negative judgment or even generalize something that should be taken as different way of thinking. Just like the way the stock market exchange does.

Human Amusements at Hourly Rates

It is so good to have the month of Ramadan again. Why is it only once in a year anyway? And why suddenly most of people turn to have the sense of decent or kindness? Well, it is good if Ramadan could bring the goodness for us and last for a long term. Amiin. The funny thing is (or the sad one) I could only hear someone who read Al-Qur'an in the mosque ( in my neighborhood ) only in the month of Ramadan. After salah isha'a. Man....I wish I could hear it all the time.

I face these confusions in my daily life. Even for such unimportant things. Like, when I analyze 'down with big brother' in 1984 by George Orwell, then there is a movie which called 'down with love'. And somehow the posters by Nikiforos Kollaros brings the illuminating. It is so true when I've finish with my cooking, it'll be nice if I'm not thinking about cleaning the dishes. Although I'm not saying that math isn't that difficult, I think design is pretty hard. Particularly when you have nothing that comes in your mind at that particular time. So, one plus one isn't always two and light isn't always that heavy I guess.

Ba-ba-ba-Bike!!!

Listen to The Bike Song by Mark Ronson somehow makes me want to write this. I always like to ride a bike when we have a chance to go to my grandma's house. With old school bike and fewer vehicles the last time I got there. Back to the town, I'm not bold enough to ride it except around the block of my sister's house.

nike air force 1 silver service bike

Looking back when I was a child, my parents won't let their children to have a bike because there'll be no one who watch for us. I blame it to our maid who decided to leave because there is a guy who proposes her. Well, I guess I blame it to that man who takes her away. But my passion to ride a bike doesn't stop there. Luckily my neighbor just got one and I never stop to learn till I'm able to ride it right on track. Unluckily for her.....

stussy wbase bmx bike

I'm quite jealous with my nephew because he's only 3 years old but already has 2 bikes just for his own. I think it is time for me to stop ride my brother in law's bicycle and start to have it one. I admit that I'm really bad when it comes to brake, so I'm not gonna pick fixie then. Though sometimes it really tempting enough.
