Architecture in my head

It is nice to see more buildings are up against the sky in Jakarta lately. But they look like a monotone-modern building like the others. There is no uniqueness in it. I believe there are many local architects who have bright n cool ideas but they just don't have a place in here who should give them some respects n an opportunity.

Then, I wonder if there is someone who even dares willing to hire Zaha Hadid. Jakarta would be a better place to live I guess. I always worship everything she invented. Bergisel ski jump in Innsbruck, Austria is one of my favorite just like Falling water house by Frank Lloyd Wright.

And don't forget the Oriental Pearl TV Tower n Pudong area by Jia Huan Cheng. Somehow, it always reminds me of Dragon Ball. Weird huh?.But my first impression of a building is on the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

I happen to know it when I was in elementary school through some kind of encyclopedia books. The illustration of it really amazed me. Since then, it broaden my knowledge about how a building should be.
